Equator makes pension auto enrolment add up for software users
Payroll managers struggling to make pension auto-enrolment add up were given a helping hand by K3 who develop and maintain the Equator HR suite of products, at customer events held at their Salford offices and Leicester Racecourse. As part of the event customers were also asked what could the Equator team do to help further improve their HR processes. To help facilitate customers who were baffled by their dealings with Pension providers, the events were also open to any customer’s 3rd party Pension Advisors to ensure that all issues were covered from every aspect.
Following updates to the Equator human resource software , the Payroll has been designed to handle all of the latest legislative requirements for pension auto enrolment payments, the company guided customers first hand through the changes made, and discussed further enhancements with users.
K3’s technical team has completely re-launched Equator and updated its payroll module to handle all of the latest legislative requirements for pension auto-enrolment payments without the need for additional third party software. The company invited customers to come and see first hand how these enhancements improve their own operational processes.
As part of the events, K3 also invited feedback from Equator users on how to further improve the software, which will help the company to position Equator as a leading HR solution nationwide. Equator has been available from K3 for over 20 years, but a series of recent developments to the software, such as an advanced electronic payslip service and an enhanced customer portal, allied to technical improvement to the software and hardware by our preferred partner have resulted in a product that the company says is now more advanced than ever.
Tommy Hynes, Business Development Manager for K3’s Equator division said: “We have spent the last few months really enhancing Equator and making sure that it provides a single solution for all payroll and HR issues. The user is at the heart of our Equator software and that is why we held these events: to inform customers about the great updates we have made to the solution but also to ask them what further improvements we can add to make Equator even more useful to them. This is how we will continue to improve Equator software to make sure that it is the most effective HR solution available.”
Over 60 customers attended the events and will benefit from Equator’s improved capability to handle pension auto-enrolment once the latest version of the software goes live at the beginning of October.
Paul Williamson, Group Finance Director of DDD Limited – I very much enjoyed the session. Apart from being assured that Equator is prepared for Auto Enrolment, it was my first visit to K3 and very interesting
